As the Vice President of Operations, Sheila brings extensive experience in the effective management of billing and coding operations. With more than 50 years of healthcare experience, Sheila has acquired expertise in practice management, business operations and consulting. She has a long history of working closely with hospitals and physicians to optimize their billing operations and negotiate managed care contracts. Sheila was the driving force behind the creation, development and growth of PMI. Throughout her tenure with PMI, Sheila has been integrally involved in the development of programs which provide consultative and management services for physicians, clinics and hospitals, as well as regional and national healthcare organizations. Sheila is a Certified Healthcare Billing Management Executive.
JULIE HARMAN, RN, RCC, CPC, CIRCC
Director of Operations and Client Services
In her position as Director of Operations and Client Services, Julie oversees the company’s practice management operations including coding, billing and client services. Her expertise includes extensive knowledge of medical procedures and the associated CPT and ICD coding conventions. Julie works closely with clients to inform and educate them regarding industry changes and to improve their practice operations and outcomes. Julie has 37 years of healthcare industry experience. Prior to joining the company, Julie worked as a registered nurse with many years of clinical experience specializing in interventional radiology and cardiac catheterization. Julie is a Certified Professional Coder, a Radiology Certified Coder, a Certified Interventional Radiology Cardiovascular Coder and has a Certificate of Proficiency in Radiology Coding from the American Academy of Professional Coders. She is a member of Radiology Business Management Association (RBMA) and Healthcare Billing and Management Association (HBMA).
